Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly appealing to the healthcare sector to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. With the strong performance statistics and diagnostic accuracies acquired by applying AI algorithms, many AI-based applications have been proposed for clinical radiography, especially for improved picture interpretation (about set reference standards). Recently, AI has shown a lot of potential for enhancing medical care in pediatric care. Accurate diagnosis, imaging, and therapy planning are all made possible by machine learning algorithms. Improvements in patient care and rapid administration made possible by modern computing and digital software have substantially boosted people’s standard of living. This chapter’s objective is to provide readers with a conceptual basis for understanding how cutting-edge AI-driven technology is influencing pediatric orthopedics.
