Preface

An intensive process of redistribution of production across the world is taking place. The BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) countries are proving to be the major engine of global growth. They were far less impacted by the financial and economic crisis than developed economies and recovered more quickly. The aim of this book is to take a closer look at the information and communication technologies (ICT) landscape not only in two BRIC countries, India and China, but also in South Korea and Taiwan.
