Are you getting tired of math and English yet? I certainly hope not. If you still want more practice after finishing the exams in this book, I recommend you head to your favorite book seller and pick up a copy of 1,001 ASVAB AFQT Practice Questions For Dummies, written by Angie Papple Johnston (published by Wiley).

Use the answers in the following sections to find out how you did on the AFQT practice exam in Chapter 17. The accompanying explanations tell you how you can get to the correct answer if you got somewhat lost along the way.

Part 1: Arithmetic Reasoning

If you already took three practice AFQT exams, and the temperature is a steady 87 degrees, what is the probability that you got most of the questions right on all four subtests? Okay, that’s not a real arithmetic reasoning question (insufficient data, as my computer friends say), but I’m betting you’ve done pretty well.
