With a talent development strategy in hand and your operating plan established, you have the key logistics in place. Now you can begin thinking about how your organization can develop the mindset required to support learning. Let’s start with evolving your organization’s learning culture.

To leverage and lead your talent development effort, you need to grow and evolve your organization’s mindset and, most specifically, how your organization views and implements learning. In the section I opener of this book, Peter Senge discussed the learning organization, and in chapter 1 we reviewed the value of a learning culture.
