and where the speed of sound is assumed to be 340 m/ s.

angles on the perimeter of a circle. Given these conditions, explain
how ambisonics, stereo panning, multichannel surround sound,
vector- based amplitude panning, and wave eld synthesis could
be used for positioning sources. Comment on the number of loud-
speakers, their positions, and the possible positions of sources in
each case.
