The fifth challenge with content management is workflow.[28]

4.5.1. Stop, go, get confused

The most common perception of workflow within content management is a structure to ensure content governance – a series of hoops content creators must jump through to publish their content.[29] This usually takes the form of a review process, with stop/go logic at each step. It is this aspect of workflow that most CMS vendors concentrate on when extolling the power and flexibility of their workflow systems.
