6.4. Content design and governance

The second stage of the AX audit is to identify the types of content you will need to manage within your system and create models for them. This may sound straightforward; occasionally it is. But structured content is often significantly more complex than people care to realize.

Am I saying you must make your content models complex? To some extent I am, but not without caveat. Information, and information management processes, are inherently complex. After all, they are carried out by decently complex beings: people.
