Chapter 8 Controlling Text in a Drawing
You have many uses for text in your drawings, including titles of views, notes, and dimensions. It’s not uncommon for most of a page to be covered with text outlining pertinent information such as titles, design requirements, and other project details. Each of these might require a different height, orientation, justification, and style of lettering. To control text, you’ll need to learn how to do the following:
- Set up text styles to determine how the text will look
- Specify where the text will be and enter it in the drawing
- Modify the text already in your drawing
