All drawings start off as an idea. Maybe it's just in your head, or maybe it became a sketch done on a napkin over lunch. The idea or sketch is then handed over to a drafter or engineer, who creates a set of drawings that will be used to communicate the final design. The final design is then used to manufacture the parts or construct the building.
