As mentioned, within any Civil 3D design, Surfaces, Alignments, and Profiles are often considered the three major foundation components required to build a true civil infrastructure design model. In Chapter 6, Surfaces - The First Foundational Component to Designs within Civil 3D, we took a deep dive into surfaces.
