Exploring Content Catalog Editor
In the previous chapter, we explored new ways of developing grading models that make our work more efficient as we tackle various site constraints in the early conceptual design phase. We used a special tool called Grading Optimization in Autodesk Civil 3D 2025 to rapidly generate our designs and run through multiple design scenarios as required. It also allowed us to see our designs changing in real time and adjust them based on the different rules and parameters that we set. The tool proved it can work with simple AutoCAD shapes and COGO Points, showing how adaptable and versatile it is for creating grading models.
