Chapter 6. Managing Azure Virtual Networks with PowerShell

Microsoft Azure Virtual Network is a network overlay that allows Azure virtual machines and services to communicate with each other while preventing services outside the virtual network for accessing them. Virtual networks or VNets also allow you to connect between the Azure Virtual Network and an organization's local on-premise network.

There are three types of virtual networks that can be configured for Microsoft Azure services:
