Provision User Code Services
We first explored Sandboxed Solutions in Chapter 10. Sandboxed Solutions are deployed at the Site Collection level and are executed in a secure, monitored process (SPUCWorkerProcess.exe) that has access only to data contained in the Site Collection.
The SharePoint Farm administrator enables sandboxing by starting the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code Service, otherwise known as the User Code Service, on the Farm. This service must be started and appropriate resource quotas set for the Site Collection before a Sandboxed Solution can be deployed within a Site Collection. (See Chapter 8 for more information regarding resource quotas.)
