B. Example Workflows
To supplement the numerous examples throughout the book, this appendix provides three additional workflows that demonstrate creation techniques, using variables, saving plug-ins, and more:
• Backup Safari Data. To be saved as an iCal Alarm plug-in, this workflow finds items named Safari in your user folder and archives them as a zip file into a dated Safari Backups folder in your Documents folder.
• Make Dated Subfolder. To be saved as a Finder plug-in, this workflow creates a subfolder, named with the current date, within the currently selected folder.
• Clean Up Desktop. To be saved as a Script Menu plug-in, this workflow moves all files and folders from your Desktop to a dated subfolder within your Documents folder.
