3   Interpreting the Capability Dimension

This chapter consists of three sections: In sections 3.1 and 3.2 we explain the structure of the capability dimension and the evaluation methodology.

While the process dimension indicators are process-specific (see chapter 2), the process attributes and the indicators for the capability dimension are generic, i.e., they are to be applied to all the processes of the process dimension. This is why they need to be interpreted in the context of each individual process.
