The previous two chapters described how to develop data and information, to formulate them as parameters to depict the plant as a system, and to create models to analyze and optimize that system. This chapter introduces another set of requirements. One is to identify and analyze all significant failures in the plant. The other is to determine feasible maintenance strategies for each.
