Embedded boards have become increasingly popular when using a multimedia center. Although Banana Pro is not yet perfectly suited for Kido (formerly known as XBMC and Xbox Media Center), it is highly recommended when watching TV, especially HDTV. Several years ago, watching HDTV required a huge CPU consumption or special graphics cards running Video Decode and Presentation API for Unix (VDPAU).
