Report writing is simplified if you approach it with a clear understanding of what you
want the report to look like. The most important thing to determine is the layout of the
report. To design the layout, ask yourself the following types of questions:
•What do I want to display in each column of the report?
•In what order do I want the columns to appear?
•Do I want to display a column for each value of a particular variable?
•Do I want a row for every observation in the report, or do I want to consolidate
