There is frequently a need to “shrink” a report to fit more rows on a page. Shrinking a
report involves changing both the font size and the spacing between the rows. In order to
give maximum flexibility to the programmer, ODS uses the font size that is specified for
the REPORT location to calculate the spacing between the rows. Therefore, to shrink a
table, change the font size for both the REPORT location and the COLUMN location.
Here is an example:

data=libref.data—set-name
style(report)=[fontsize=8pt]
style(column)=[font=(Arial, 8pt)];
