2.1 Scope
As the name implies, this book covers only the basic application of NEC-2 to the design and analysis of MF directional antennas. The essentials are described in sufficient detail to teach the useful design and analysis of medium-frequency (MF) broadcast antenna arrays, but some refinements of NEC-2 are not specifically described in this text or they are given only cursory mention. Some of these refinements include the use of symmetry and reflection to simplify the input file, wire arcs, dimension scaling, and multiple structures.
