2.1 Scope

As the name implies, this book covers only the basic application of NEC-2 to the design and analysis of MF directional antennas. The essentials are described in sufficient detail to teach the useful design and analysis of medium-frequency (MF) broadcast antenna arrays, but some refinements of NEC-2 are not specifically described in this text or they are given only cursory mention.
