Concentric circles are centered at the pole with radii r = 1, r = 2, and r = 3. The positive horizontal axis is the polar axis with the labels 0 and 2 pi. Values for theta extend from the pole and into each quadrant. In counterclockwise order, the values are as follows. 0, pi over 6, pi over 3, pi over 2, 2 pi over 3, 5 pi over 6, pi, 7 pi over 6, 4 pi over 3, 3 pi over 2, 5 pi over 3, 11 pi over 6, and 2 pi. The axes are 0, pi over 2, pi, 3 pi over 2, and 2 pi.
