Transformation of Demand into Supply: Designing Products to Meet Customer Expectations
2.1 Introduction
Using customer surveys, the marketing department usually collects information related to customers’ needs and expectations. This information is passed on to the product design department, where product designers usually transform it into product design specifications and drawings.
