How to use this book

Whilst you may choose to read this book from cover to cover, it is essentially designed as a ‘dip in’ book. You will see that the beginning pages are concerned with the lighting team, followed by essential electricity and how the camera ‘Views’ light. We move through the different types of lights, and their control, to their basic settings for studio and locations. Finally there are examples which will help you to light your different types of production. It is possible to read only the section that interests you at the moment without reference to the other sections.
