Hardware Redundancy
This section focuses on the Catalyst 6500 switches' hardware redundancy capabilities. These features include redundant power supplies, a hot-swappable fan, hot-swappable modules, redundant Supervisor Engines, and redundant Route Processors. Please note that the Catalyst 4500s, 3550s, and 2950s support some of these features, but not necessarily all of them.
