CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
John Ndevasia Muafangejo was an Ovambo artist from Angola. The Ovambo people are native to southern Africa, mainly located in present-day Namibia. He grew up in a small village with seventeen brothers and sisters. When he was a kid, he liked caring for the family’s cows and goats, and he would later make art about those happy memories.
