Flirting with the milkman? Exchanging glances with your guitar teacher? Daydreaming about running away with your husband’s best friend?
Fancying someone else is not, in itself, a bad thing. A frisson of safe excitement can brighten office life and casual flirting makes a mundane journey or chore a lot more enjoyable. The danger, if there is one, is located at home. Almost imperceptibly the passion and sparkle that once existed in your domestic life can leak away like water from a punctured paddling pool and re-emerge elsewhere.
