I knew immediately upon meeting Singh that he was one of those people I’d never forget. Maybe it was because he was close to my own age; in any case, he had such a clear perspective about life and he was someone you just don’t encounter every day. It made me to wonder how many other people I meet and frivolously dismiss, thinking they’re of no use to me, and even seeing them as a source of displeasure.
I wondered – what if each person we met in our daily lives had the potential to offer us some extraordinary gift or insight into ourselves? Imagine the impact and the direction our lives might take. Maybe this is the real definition behind serendipity.
