It is one thing to talk about putting values into action to change the world, and quite another to see it firsthand. In the summer of 2014, as this book was being written, my family and I had the privilege of such an experience. We spent three weeks in Kenya, most of it in rural farming communities to witness the amazing transformation being brought about by One Acre Fund (www.OneAcreFund.org), a not-for-profit organization that was co-founded by Andrew Youn, a 2006 graduate of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
