What you will learn
In this chapter, we will build and deploy a database-powered application. Along the way, we’ll discover how JavaScript applications can interact with file stores and databases and how the asynchronous features of the language let us work with processes that might take some time to complete. We’ll discover how to design and connect to database storage using the MongoDB database and Mongoose middleware. Then, we’ll prepare the Tiny Survey application for deployment, creating a development environment in the process. Finally, we’ll configure and deploy a working application.
