This book is not a comprehensive resource for all things Joomla!. Nothing could ever be that, because the amount of information that you could possibly learn about Joomla! is so vast that no one could possibly fit it all into a single book. With that in mind, it is important that you learn some of the most valuable resources in the Joomla! community for finding information such as tips, tricks, tutorials, and help from other users, and for finding useful extensions. This appendix contains a list of useful resources, so you know where to go for help and information when you are building your Joomla!-powered site.

You have several places to go to find tips, tricks, tutorials, and help when you are building your website. This section contains a list of some of the most popular help sites in the community.
The Joomla! Discussion Forums
If you ever have a question about Joomla!, or if you are just looking for the solution to a problem you are having with your site, the first place you should go is the official Joomla! Discussion Forums, shown in Figure D-1. The forums are huge, with approximately 240,000 users, 320,000 topics, and 1.5 million posts. Chances are, with the Joomla! Discussion Forums, you will find that your question has already been answered, or you will find a helpful volunteer who is willing to help you find the answer to your question.
