Chapter 10. Application Deployment
This chapter will cover how to get an application out of the system in a form that can be easily migrated or stored and how to transfer that application back into the system using the same process. The concept of application migration and deployment is always something to consider when planning your application. In the case of APEX, it's very straightforward.

An application export is simple to obtain. The interface includes a process designed to generate scripts for migrating APEX applications. As APEX is a set of metadata in the APEX workspace, creating a script that allows that metadata to be transferred is all that is needed. Let's make an export of the help desk application.
