The computer can make sounds. Let’s try that! Make sure you have some speakers connected and turned on. Let’s start the Commodore 16 again.

Now you need to tell the computer how loud it should be. The command is as follows:

VOL 8

Press RETURN.

8 is the loudest, 1 is the quietest, and 0 means no sound.
