In late 2016, an organizational behavior-focused study was conducted at an independent U.S. community-based hospital. In early 2015, the organization had been named a top 50 hospital in the United States by a well-known, nationally recognized agency. Success was consistent within the organization throughout its evolution in business model and practice.
