High-Definition Shooting

The essence of this book is to keep ideas practical and straightforward so that we can achieve consistent results in shooting, lighting, audio, and all other location video production matters…and enjoy it all.

HD is just a format, albeit a new and a very good one, requiring new cameras and lenses. It shouldn’t change the way we approach our day-to-day location shooting or the way we work in any way.

And that’s the correct way to look at it.
