2.6.3. Direct and targeted recruiting
The third way to recruit is in a direct and targeted way. That is, rather than intercepting users or going through a panel to recruit them, you're soliciting them directly. There are a few ways of going about this.
Emailing
If you have a predefined list of potential participants, you can email invitations to them directly. This may be a customer list you have or perhaps an email list that you rented from a market research company. Just be careful about a few things. First, some email list brokers are not very careful about the quality of their participants.
