This chapter outlines the impact of big data on intelligence as knowledge, activities and organisations in Australia. Intelligence in practice can be thought of in three ways, sometimes simultaneously (Lowenthal 2012, p. 9), as knowledge, as an organisation and as either an activity (Kent 1966) or product (Lowenthal 2012). These rough categories also emerged within the data.
