5.4. Setting Up the Job Trailer
Correctly setting up a job trailer at the onset of a project is critical to successfully using BIM in the field (Figure 5.34). Although this might seem like somewhat of a menial task, this portion of the process requires a new way of looking at how to display and share information on a job site. To begin, let's look at conventional job trailers; what they contain and what they are used for.
Generally speaking, construction trailers contain a conference room, a plans and specifications table, and a communication hub:
