Abstract

With the increasing analysis and application of bioinspired rules for various application for the optimization purpose, this chapter aims at investigation of such algorithms for the application in medical field or we can say in the industry. This study aims at investigating the challenges, review questions, and future scope of the bio-inspired algorithms in these medical applications. The reason behind investigating is that various complex problem based on optimization can be solved with the help of metaheuristics techniques and gained higher considerations. Because the algorithms are based on imitating nature’s process by various animals or organisms, the modern idea can be transformed by employing the artificial intelligence and machine learning with blending the bioinspired methods. The biological inspiration behind these computing is bioinspired computing logics organisms apply in solving various applications. The organism’s or animals/nature’s idea of fetching food, moving and path formation are studied and how it can be best optimized and applied in the medical industry.
