Processes and Conceptual Tools
As you can imagine, there are now a number of different processes, approaches, and conceptual tools available across disciplines. While engineering, architecture, design, and other disciplines each have their own discipline-specific approaches, this chapter will provide resources for a more general audience that is new to bioinspired innovation. This is in no way an exhaustive list, particularly as many tools have emerged in different languages (e.g., German, French, Japanese), but it will give you a sampling of some of the more and less technical approaches to industrial ecology, cradle to cradle, biomimicry, and circular economy.
