Herein, we briey introduce the recent results of PET uorescent sensors based on NMs
and nanostructures. Previous investigations have demonstrated that double-stranded
DNA can act as the electronic transport channel [82,83]. Willner et al. have employed the
electronic transport property of double-stranded DNA to develop a uorescent sensor for
the multiplexed detection of Hg
