Abstract

In recent years, the perception of ecologically significant biological ions has arisen as a substantial area in the field of chemical sensors. Among the several sophisticated analytical methods, fluorescence chemosensors has been a prevailing tool due to its ease detection method, fast response, high detection limit and to bioimaging applications. Besides, the fluorescent biosensors should be low-cost, transportable, and accessible, require minimal preparation methods, and would be able to perceive evolving various types of biological molecules for widespread acceptance. Recognition moiety for selective binding of particular biological ions is the main crucial component of a novel biosensor. Eventually, the good biosensor is extremely dependent on its selectivity, sensitivity, reversibility, and extensive pertinence of the recognition ion. In this chapter, we discuss different molecules for biological amine detection by fluorescent chemosensors in detail with its specific emphasis on the use of bioimaging applications. As the field advances, the sustained improvements in fluorescent biosensors are anticipated to result in universal ...
