Unwrapping our mesh

After we have our texture seam, we can go ahead and tell Blender to unwrap our mesh. To do so:

  1. Select all vertices.
  2. Press the U-hotkey to bring up the UV Unwrapping menu.
  3. Select Unwrap.

If we take a look at our UV Editing layout now, we will see that the Image Editor is showing our unwrapped UV set.
