Before we can bring our UV map into Blender, we need to save it as a file Blender can read. Blender supports all major file types, so we're going to play it safe and use the
.png file type. Let's open up our UV map again in GIMP.
To save our texture as a
imagesfolder we created earlier, inside our project folder.
Make sure you type
.png at the end one of the nice things about GIMP is that you can dictate the file type simply by typing it into the filename.
