Chapter 9. Hybrid Lighting: Materials and Textures

We've already taken an in-depth look at a lot of different techniques that we can use to make our materials look believable, including:

  • Adjusting diffuse and specular settings
  • Adding reflections and transparency
  • Using image textures as UV maps

Now we're going to focus on bringing those materials to the next level and really take a look at what we can do to mimic real-life objects.
