Linking the sculpture to a new scene

Sculpted models often have thousands or millions of vertices, which means the file size on your computer will be quite large (the example baby dragon sculpture is about 140 megabytes, but some sculptures can be over a gigabyte). As you work on projects like this, it's a good idea to save multiple work-in-progress versions in case you make a mistake or the file becomes corrupt.

Blender doesn't usually have problems with file corruption, but it's always smart to plan ahead and be on the safe side.
