CHAPTER 4Action

One of the biggest challenges in life and in business is that people lack the ability to take action, to actually do something. You see, a lot of people think about wanting to be successful, and they talk about it. They dream about accomplishing their goals but they never actually do anything. The trick is, you actually have to do something in order to accomplish your goals. It sounds so simple, doesn't it?

One of the most basic things that a lot of people think about is maybe losing weight. The only way you're going to lose weight is if you actually do something. You're not just going to lose weight by doing nothing or by doing the same thing over and over again. It doesn't happen that way. Our bodies are designed to be worked so that we are able to do things with our body. When you want to lose weight, you need to do a little bit more than what you were doing previously. You need to eat less. You need to take action and actually do something. I have found, again and again, in life and in business, that this is one of the biggest barriers that most people are having a tough time overcoming: taking action.
