Before we tackle the complexities of setting up a bluescreen studio, let’s take a look at some of the other (often overlooked) kinds of magic that can be created with simple compositing techniques. Greenscreen is not the only type of compositing!
While blue or greenscreen techniques can be used to effectively extract what might be called an action matte (one derived from live action in the frames) there are some amazing effects that can be created with nonaction mattes.
