Introduction
In 2004, McGraw-Hill published my first book on the subject of interviewing—Boost Your Interview IQ. It has been very well received and has sold well in the United States and other countries. A great deal has happened in the world since that publication, both in the world of work and in our way of communicating. There are new ways to reach out and connect with people, and in turn for people to check you out. The world has become a smaller playing field. But at the same time, the opportunities have become more diverse.
It is now time to update this guidebook with stronger examples so that you can compete in a tougher, leaner job market. I am very excited to present a new, improved edition of Boost Your Interview IQ.
