When choosing an LVM, your choice must be driven by the requirements of the applications and services provided by the system. Further, you should consider the needs and requirements of the datacenter. For example, you should consider the level of training required to bring a system administration and operations staff up to speed on a new LVM. Additional requirements of the datacenter may include the following:
