Abstract

Project managers are responsible for ensuring that large-scale projects stay on track. In this role, they will be reporting to higher-level managers or executives to keep them abreast of the situation, and working to maintain the project schedule. The skills gained as project manager prepare one for managing information security professionals, but are unlikely to include the technical skills necessary to take on more operational information security roles.
